| How the Guardian Commission Sales System Works |
The Guardian Commission Sales System is a way for you to make money by selling the Guardian system to booksellers.
It sounds pretty simple... And It Is! It's also free!
How does this work?
- You Create an Account on our commission sales system.
- You make contact with prospective booksellers via telephone or mail.
- You enter the email address, name and city of a prospective bookseller.
- Guardian sends this prospective bookseller an email with an Internet link inviting them to fill out our Bookstore Application form to become a member of Guardian. This email contains your seller account# which will allow us to attribute the new bookseller to you if this bookseller becomes a member of Guardian.
- If the bookseller becomes a (paying) Guardian bookseller then Guardian will pay you a percentage of what the bookseller pays guardian.
- In the first 12 months, guardian will pay you 30% of the amount the bookseller pays guardian.
- In the second 12 months, guardian will pay you 20% of the amount the bookseller pays guardian.
- In the third 12 months, guardian will pay you 10% of the amount the bookseller pays guardian.
- Guardian will send you a cheque for the commission sales you've earned ever 4 months.
- You can review the status of prospective booksellers you've sent email to at any time.
- You can review the status of your payment account with Guardian at any time.
What are the rules?
- From time to time Guardian offers bookseller/bookstores free months of membership (usually 2) to join Guardian. These free months are not subject to commissions.
- If a bookseller leaves Guardian then your commissions from that bookseller's membership will end. If this bookstore returns to Guardian within 6 months your commissions will continue again where they left off.
- If a bookseller must be removed from Guardian then your commissions from that bookseller's membership will end. Again, if this bookstore returns to Guardian within 6 months your commissions will continue again where they left off.
- If a bookseller joins Guardian without using the link you sent them you are not entitled to any commissions. If this bookseller calls us within 3 months of joining Guardian to tell us you referred them to Guardian then you will receive commissions for that bookseller.
- If you send a bookseller an invitation to join Guardian, no other Guardian Commission sales member can send an invitation to that bookseller's email address for 3 months.
- If you have Guardian Commission sales account and you are also a Guardian book seller your Guardian Commission sales account cannot have your Guardian book seller account as a commission customer.
- Guardian does not want sellers indiscriminately spamming booksellers using Guardian's email facilities. Therefore if Guardian receives complaints from a prospective bookseller about a commission seller sending them email indiscriminately without personal contact then the commission seller will be stopped from sending prospect emails to anyone and all unfulfilled prospective booksellers will be removed from the commission seller's account.
